- Quiet area
- Reserved parking spots
- New sidewalks and roofs
- Very affordable. People who think it's too small for the price are crazy. This is the best you can get in south jersey for under $700.
- Parking lots are very narrow. It's like they tried to cram as many buildings as possible but forgot about people having cars.
Cons:
- Dee :)
Is it the Taj Mahal? No. Is it good enough for a single person that works on the base? Hell yeah. Not ideal for families, though.
- Close to the base if you work there
Very quiet !!! I can have a peace of mind at all times.
- The lady that owns the place likes to troll around in her car and give dirty looks at everyone. I get a vibe that she thinks the people that live here are dirt or something.
First off the woman who answered the phone was a complete snot when I asked about qualifying for a 2 bedroom apartment saying couldn't merge my income with my boyfriends to qualify myself which wasn't the case if I'm gonna be living with my boyfriend umm of course are income is gonna be counted together any NORMAL complex would do that. Complete snots at the office
- The maintenance staff is VERY nice and works very hard
Was pet sitting here for a friend. Interacted with many of her neighbors, in passing & parking, & all were very friendly & helpful.
- It's nice that the laundry facility is on site, but it's still a major pain in the ass to do laundry. The cost of laundry kind of expensive and they just raised the prices so I'd expect that to happen while you're living there. Don't even try doing it on the weekends.
I don't wish to disclose where I live but I was talking to some neighbors about a domestic violence incident that happened at 114 a week or so ago and found out the man living there is a convicted felon and has a drug problem. We not only have children on that street but they live next to mentally ill people and I am worried for everyone's safety. I don't know who or why they are letting those type of people in but it is starting to effect the neighborhood. Dickinson court is turning into a mini ghetto. I will probably be moving soon considering I no longer feel comfortable.
Pros:
Lived here for 2 years and enjoyed most of it. First of all, I just want to say that Dee is awesome and knows how to do her job. She will make sure you understand everything and takes the time to go over the lease and apartment guidelines with you.
- You can hear literally everything, EVERYTHING!!! above you. Get a 2nd floor if possible.
- Pemberton in general is out in the middle of nowhere and this complex is no exception. You will find it takes a while to go anywhere and the only place that delivers food that I know of is Papi's Pizza. But they're pretty damn good.
- DO NOT get an apartment at the end of Dickinson right before the dip. I can't tell you why. Just trust me.
